#  A broad manufacturing portfolio as the foundation of KSK Precise Motion’s uniqueness

The uniqueness of KSK Precise Motion, a.s. also lies in its broad and diverse manufacturing portfolio.

Recently, we manufactured a high-load ball screw with a nominal shaft diameter of d = 225 mm, which is the largest screw of this type produced by our company to date. Our technologies allow us to further extend this limit to a nominal shaft diameter of up to d = 250 mm.

 

High-load ball screws with efficiencies of up to 95% have been increasingly used in recent years, particularly in the plastics processing industry, where they often replace conventional hydraulic solutions. The main reason is the elimination of undesirable operational issues such as pressure losses and hydraulic fluid leaks, which have a negative impact on the environment.

At the opposite end of our manufacturing spectrum are high-precision miniature ball screws, which have already become an integral part of KSK’s diverse product portfolio. These micro ball screws are used in a wide range of precision industrial applications and devices, such as electron microscopes, aerospace applications (e.g. control of lift flaps), 3D printers, medical and laboratory equipment, and other demanding technologies.
