ITS invests in photovoltaics and energy independence
For us, sustainability is not just a marketing slogan, but concrete action. One example of this is the installation of our own photovoltaic power plant on the roof of our building in Brno.
Our photovoltaic system has an output of 49.82 kWp and is supplemented by a storage system with a nominal capacity of 95.80 kWh. This allows us to use the energy we produce efficiently even when the sun is not shining. The project is co-financed by the Czech Ministry of Industry and Trade and the European Union, which has enabled us to invest in a modern and meaningful solution.
Why did we do it? The reasons are simple and pragmatic. We want to reduce our dependence on external electricity suppliers and at the same time reduce energy costs, which have been fluctuating dramatically in recent years.
And the impact? Every year, this step reduces our CO₂ emissions by almost 23 tons (22,982 kg). No compromises in operation, no burden on the environment.
For us, producing our own energy means greater energy independence, stability, and security for the future. Energy from the sun is renewable, practically inexhaustible — and most importantly, no one can raise the price overnight.
This is sustainability in practice. Functional, rational, and beneficial in the long term.
