The year 2025 represented a significant milestone for KSK Precise Motion in the field of miniature ball screws. After an intensive development phase, this new product moved into the phase of production start-up, systematic prototyping, and establishing cooperation with the first stable customers.
Miniature ball screws are a technologically demanding solution designed for applications where extreme precision, smooth operation, and compact design are key. Their production places high demands on the technologies used, process stability, and quality control. That is why 2025 was focused primarily on fine-tuning production processes and verifying long-term reliability in real-world applications, with a maximum focus on fine pitches, minimizing backlash, and achieving high positioning repeatability.
A significant result in the second half of 2025 is the acquisition of the first stable customers who are already using KSK miniature ball screws in their final devices, particularly in the fields of measurement technology, optics, and medical applications. At the same time, cooperation on other prototype projects continues, creating space for further expansion of the portfolio and production volumes in the coming years.
Miniature ball screws are thus gradually becoming an integral part of the KSK Precise Motion product portfolio. The year 2025 confirmed the correctness of the chosen strategy – the combination of in-house development, flexible production, and close cooperation with customers creates a solid foundation for further growth.
