SQI Laboratory Expands Its Range of Accredited Tests

SQI nabízí další akreditované zkoušky

The Surface Quality Institute (SQI) has expanded the scope of its accredited testing services in the field of surface finish quality assessment. The laboratory has newly obtained accreditation for five additional test methods and has also extended selected existing methods to include additional standards.

Five newly accredited test methods:

  • Microscopic determination of coating thickness –  EN ISO 1463,
  • Gravimetric determination of mass per unit area –  EN ISO 1460,
  • Determination of resistance to liquids – EN ISO 2812 – 3,
  • Assessment of sealing quality –  EN ISO 3210,
  • Dye spot test –  EN ISO 2143.

The scope of existing accredited tests has also been extended. Coating thickness determination now additionally includes  EN ISO 2178 and  EN ISO 2360, while the assessment of coating degradation has been expanded to include  EN ISO 10289.

The extended accreditation enables the laboratory to meet a broader range of requirements related to surface finish quality control, verification of coating parameters and assessment of coating properties.

This year also marks an important milestone for SQI, as the laboratory celebrates its 10th anniversary. Over the past decade, SQI has continuously expanded its technical equipment, professional expertise and range of accredited test methods to meet the needs of industrial customers.
